Bali Baby!

Gimme some of that sun!© Dian

This blog has a tendency to fall into hiatus, doesn't it?

Was busy getting my budak pantai look *I am so absolutely gorgeous now* This is one of the pics I took of my honeymoon in Bali. Where is my husband? Do you see the little speck on the right side of the picture in the waves? When printed, this picture is actually big enough to discern that little speck is my husband frolicking in the waves *kekeke*

Updates:

  1. I'm getting married again. Hahaha, my sanding is on the 2nd of April. Yes, re-invites all around again, just wait for them *Yea la, last time siapa suruh buat nikah on workday for KL kan?* It's RSVP this time around because it's a pay per head deal. Supposedly, limited invites.
  2. I'm starting my Chambering stint!! Yes, finally after months laid-off for my domestication process *Dian is Domesticated* I start work today!! At 10 a.m.!! Cool, huh? Who gets to clock in at 10 a.m. on a first day at work?
  3. Note to Ily: IMPORTANT. I'm looking for an MC for my sanding event. My mother is pressing for an ex-law student to do the job as she is confident only a law graduate can pull it off. Guess who she suggested? No prizes for guessing who. It's not me *kekeke* If you read this one month after I post this entry, don't worry, because I would have called you by then *kekeke*

The funniest thing!! -- Did you know there was a rumour flying around that I up and left for Belgium for good!! Funnier still, the rumour sparked from Raja (of all people who don't keep in touch with me) and he really caused a frenzy to Firdaus Ashiq and Jastina. Firdaus called and was hyped, "ohmigod, where have you been, Dian?" Errr... at home..

Apparently because I suspended my postpaid phone line so they thought it was terminated for good. I lost my phone at the airport coming from Bali (My third Nokia 2100: telefon puaka)Firdaus said Jastina was in hysterics, "D'oh! She left without saying good-bye to me!!", kekeke

Bizarre... Jastina my neighbour could've just called my house or came over and asked anyone from my household-- though, I suppose my bad for being caught up in "marital bliss". Hey, married life is a bed of roses and then some.

Anyway, even Rajes passed a comment in our juniors' class about "You know.. some people... when they get married.. they just.. disappear!" *Damn right! My marriage is my business!*(It is my humble submission that your Lordship J Rajeswaran mind your own business)

Anyway, good luck to you girls at the AGC interview today!!

Obviously not on hiatus!

India, originally uploaded by ilyillahi.

For some obvious reasons (read : laziness), this blog was on a temporary hiatus.
But, maybe not anymore.

Look, this is MY (our, to those concerned) latest 'pet-project' for 2006 or 2007.

India, please welcome us Dummies! (who always dream of a backpacking trip as one of the Things You Must Do Before You ****** (insert anything appropriate) :)

An ad rem in my life

This may be what will be called reflectively as a "life-defining" moment. God willing, the 25th of this month will mark the transition I shall make from that of one man's daughter to become another man's wife.

Though this piece of news should come as no surprise to all those who have languised time upon this blog, perhaps the proximity in time in the culmination of this event so soon after its announcement may be astonishing. But if you know me, (which some of you may know almost intimately well) nothing is too bizarre for my family, eh?

I have met my soon-to-be mother-in-law and I love her as if she was a long-lost mother I wish I always had. Not that I don't love my own mother, but to add into my life a 2nd mother is a wonderful experience :) She is so lovely.

The significance of this entry is its dual purpose as an announcement and an invitation to my fellow contributors of this blog to avail yourselves and grace me with your presence on Tuesday, the 25th of January of this year, 2005. The place is chez moi. The event is my nikah.

Good times roll

Hazurina-chan©Dian

One of my favouritest peoples captured in one of my favouritest poses for someone to be caught in; this picture speaks how much time I have on my hands *sorry, Haz, but you didn't delete that pic of me with the "you-know-who" retarded Nenek-Kebayan -looking-hands pose*

Time is flying for me actually. As well can be expected, I'm extremely hectic getting my life straightened out for the near future transition. Tired? Emotionally exhausting. Now I have free private French tutoring, which as it inevitably turns out is unavoidable and absolutely necessary. What path shall my life lead to? I can no longer say. I used to cherish manouevering the wheel of my life by my own hand but now I find another hand slowly moving in to take over the helm *as well as my hand*. And I have never felt safer.

Navigation should be easier from now on.

Balik Kampung

Whilst some peers out in the legal frontier are busy berjinak-jinak dengan bidang undang-undang ini, I went back balik kampung, baby!

I balik my auntie's house in Negeri Sembilan, duduk situ 3 hari (more or less) tolong-tolong dia sikit around the house, memain ngan my little cousins (WAHH, CUTENYEE!!!!) Hmmm... sungguh seronok melepak-lepak di kampung, dengan lembunye, kambing bebirinya, kucing dan pelbagai. Pastu Atuk pun ada and his housemate (don't ask) pun datang jugak, and dia pandai buat roti canai!!! That was the best.

Ini lah dia hidup bila study on weekends dan belum start chambering. I just found the convocation letter on my desk. Apart from that, slight more news than usual:

Ladies, I am engaged. Stay updated for more news.
(Ily, I must commend, quite spot on about the time frame of how this event spans out)

A picture paints a thousand words

Rajeswaran J ©Dian

This was during the National Client Counselling Competition 2004 at IIUM grounds. All kinds of feelings pass through me when I look at his face *gritting teeth*
This is weird.
Weird because of all the names chosen, magnificentissimus has not been used yet in Blogger. Weird still because weird names that most probably do not sound interesting like briefcase, inter alia and ad rem cannot be registered.
Anyways, indeed it is a new beginning. A newbie in blogging, new journeys lie ahead in our lives, new experience to cherish, etc.
And to start it all, we are going on a ROADTRIP tomorrow!!!
Cheers!
